Now you see me

Hello Friends,

Not too long ago I was at church and during alter call there was a moment in which the Spirit of the Lord took over and encouraged the minister to put us in groups according to what we felt our gift was. At first, I didn't think I fit into anything they were calling out then "those who get messages through dreams" was called and finally I said YES that's me! Each group was prayed over for their gifts; it was a tremendous movement of the Lord in that moment and for the first time I saw that ability as a blessing instead of a curse.

According to Wikipedia a "seer" is one who sees with spiritual eyes and can perceive the meaning of that which seems obscure to others; an interpreter and clarifier of eternal truth who foresees the future from the past and the present. Can't say I see those qualifications in my abilities as most times I am confused by my dreams and just sitting and waiting for the meaning to reveal itself...some gift I got! But make no mistake, what I dream has always come true.

I bring this up today because last night (or maybe it was early this morning during meditation) I had a very vivid and profound dream in which I can remember every detail (so I know it wasn't inspired by late night eating or a movie last watched). The thing is, I'm not sure how I feel about it; I do know that something is coming but I don't know what. This reminds me of the stories told about Joseph and how his dreams lead to the survival of a nation. My dreams can't compare to that monumental moment, but I know that what is coming will impact me and/or my family in a big way.

Until it reveals itself, I will continue to shape this fabric into something beautiful.
